THE CHALLENGE

La Mer Collections’ core company value of ‘Inspired By The Color of Travel’ is what influenced its creative team to travel to the vibrant city of Cape Town, South Africa, and experience a true ‘adventure’ in capturing this season’s look book.

With the African Sunshine and unique landscape of Cape Town, this South African photoshoot’s creative direction captured the incredible energy and colors beauty of the city as a whole. Importantly it highlighted La Mer's natural stone details, straps’ fresh neutral color pallet topped with neon details, and the newly developed delicate watch face designs.

Temescal Creative’s key responsibilities included the complex management of all team member’s schedules, including the coordination of preparation of each aspect of the daily project’s timeline to ensure everyone was operating at their highest capacity and all the while meeting the landscape’s perimeters of weather, light and temperature. This photoshoot’s storytelling quality brought a luxurious visual sense to the watches' design and to the brand at large. Once launched, this photoshoot opened up interest across the world for La Mer Collections to create new categories such as handbags and new retail collaborations to be pursued.
