La Mer Collections

THE CHALLENGE

TARGET Stores approached La Mer Collections to be the 1st and only USA based watch company to design an ‘All-Door’ collaboration for its holiday season. With only 10 months to execute this project, the entire 16 piece collection was designed and delivered successfully. The Collection was exclusively designed in the United States, manufacturing was executed in Asia and the freight was managed by a USA Distribution Center out of of California which fed the entire country’s 1700 Target store locations’ own distribution, all of which was managed by Temescal Creative.

Every single Target store across the USA had a front-of-store display with the unique brightly colored faux leather wrap watch collection. The packaging was specifically designed to clarify for Target Guests, both the design of the brand's wrap watch strap function, and also allow for an easy merchandising strategy

The creative direction, product development and final execution was enhanced by the streamlined supply chain and logistics portion of this project. Temescal Creative’s team managed this entire back-of-house process, alongside The Creative Partner’s Group, to ensure a timely and accurate delivery to Target. Bright colors, slightly less expensive price points compared to the brand’s core luxury collection, and also the success of its holiday marketing strategy allowed for a second season’s collection to develop. This second season included a Valentine’s day offering plus gift boxes which included new a packaging design.

This project was a one of a kind collection which is now collectible and rare to find available online.
