Luxury Apparel Leather Binding

AMIRI

THE CHALLENGE

AMIRI is luxury apparel brand, headquartered in Los Angeles, California who values the highest possible quality craftsmanship for its collections each season.

AMIRI’S design and production teams scour the world to source the most unique manufacturing methods which can match their designers’ vision.

They approached with a complex leather binding construction to be created for two distinctly different lounge sets, which included both pants and jackets.

The AMIRI production team worked closely to specify its leather color and quality, which was sourced by Temescal Creative out of Italy, so that once sewn in, the garments would remain comfortable and beautiful.

Custom manufactured sewing machines were brought on site within the American Lacing factory, to combine the neon bindings along with with the folded leather lacing, to then produce into long spools of paneling. From this stage, the spools of leather binding could be sewn into the garments in a cost effective manner. Each ‘AMIRI’ silver metallic logo was stamped onto the black Italian leather binding and carefully combined again with the black and white nylon bindings for the final spools of binding to be manufactured.

This final trimming was innovative, very intricately manufactured and was up to par with the brand’s larger quality control and luxury requirements.
